2/28/12--Ash-throated Flycatcher, Miami-Dade County, before Everglades
NP entrance. Observers: Robin Diaz, m. ob. Directions: from intersection
of FL Turnpike and US 1 in Florida City, turn right on Palm Dr (SW 344
St). Drive west 1.6 mi. Turn left on SW 192 Ave and continue south 2 mi.
Turn right on 376th St (SR 9336/Ingraham Hwy). Drive west 4.5 mi to
Aerojet Rd (SW 232 Ave). (GPS 25.400929,-80.56622, De LORME p. 122)
Ash-throated is being seen in small trees on north side of SR 9336 and
in small hammock across fence on south side of road, east of Aerojet Rd.
This morning, Ash-throated was first observed at Lucky Hammock (denoted
by red "x" on map), but then crossed over to east side of road, often
giving its soft "kirp" call. Then it moved back north towards hammock
